Our logo represents the phalanx employed by Spartan Hoplites which requires:
- Visible Leadership – Hoplite leaders embedded on the frontline and had a deep understanding of their soldiers, equipment, tactics, and the operational environment
- Trust – each solider protects the man to either side of him and must trust them completely
- Teamwork – uncoordinated individual action would compromise the formation’s defenses and minimize its offensive strengths
- Efficiency – the phalanx proved to be effective with fewer soldiers and could defeat numerically superior foes
- Disciplined Execution – to be effective, the phalanx requires each member to perform as expected
